After graduating from Naturopathic college in New Westminster, BC, in 2010, I started a private practice in Vancouver, BC. My partner and I moved to the qathet regional district (City of Powell River) in 2017 and am honoured to now be serving this community. I respectivefully acknowledge that I live, work and play on the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, the traditional territory of the Tla’amin First Nation.
My Philosophy
Health is a dynamic and ever-changing process. It comes not only from our physical well-being, but also from the relationships we have with our loved ones, our work, our homes, our planet, and ourselves. Health is unique to each of us- there is no such thing as a “cure all.” Our journey to optimal health can be a difficult one. It takes dedication and perseverance, but all along the way, offers amazing rewards of self-discovery.
I believe that we can all live a healthy life. Education is the key in this process. As your naturopathic physician, I strive to share my professional knowledge, so that you may be able to meet your full potential and be the orchestrator of your health.
My Passion in Naturopathic Medicine and Life.
Food. Food as pleasure and food as medicine. I am deeply interested in nutrition and how foods can support our system. I get to further hone my knowledge by teaching Clinical Nutrition at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and I am always working on new recipe ideas that are both nutritious and delicious to post on my blog.
Nature. I love the outdoors and believe this is its own form of medicine. I aim to be outside at least part of every day and in the forest or on the ocean as much as possible.
